I've worked in US public media for over fifteen years and am currently the director of radio at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism. I'm also the editor of the Asian American Writers' Workshop's Open City Magazine, which covers NYC immigrant neighborhoods. I was most recently in the Philippines in 2011 for an International Center for Journalists' fellowship, during which I reported on the production of biofuels in rural areas. This past fall, I finished a 2014 Nieman Visiting Fellowship at Harvard University and was recently nominated for The Outstanding Filipino Americans of New York's 2014 award in media and publishing.

Specialties: Radio journalism, audio podcasting, media curriculum development, news directing, project management, media education and mentorship, ethnic media studies.
