When the Stakes Are High and the Story Ever Changing: Online Crisis Reporting

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Reporting on a crisis isn't easy, no matter if it's a sudden violent conflict grabbing the world's attention or an ongoing systemic issue hardly making a headline. How do you tell the story accurately when the situation can change from moment to moment? How do you sift truth from propaganda, especially online? How do you responsibly cover trauma?

In this session, a panel of experts will speak about their experiences dealing with these and other challenges of crisis reporting.
